Michael began his career in public accounting in 1976 and in 1987 became a partner in the firm of Rubin, Brody & Associates, Ltd. in Northbrook, Illinois. After fifteen years, they merged their practice into a much larger mid-sized local firm where he gained additional experience as a partner. For the past five years he has been a Principal at a smaller local CPA firm where he continued to service his clients of many years. In an effort to provide his clients with even greater resources and disciplines not previously available, and in anticipation of growing his practice even further, he decided to join Bronswick Reicin Pollack.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University in 1971. He continued his education at DePaul University where he fulfilled his accounting requirements and where he later served as an instructor in their accountancy program teaching Principles of Accounting, and Cost Accounting for several years. Michael passed the CPA exam in 1980 and is currently a member of both the Illinois CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
