Jeffrey Bronswick is a partner with Reicin Pollack. He provides his clients with the financial expertise that growing businesses need. Jeff draws on his vast experience in auditing, tax planning, and consulting for a variety of clients. Jeff possesses particular expertise in the following areas: manufacturing, graphic arts production, the healthcare industry, technology firms, labor organizations, employee benefit plans and professional service organizations. Jeff works closely with his clients in helping guide their growth and financial success, assisting them with operational and financial issues, and in charting tax strategies to maximize their after tax income.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Cum Laude and with University Honors) from Northern Illinois University in 1988. He also became a Certified Public Accountant during that same year, passing the entire exam on his first attempt. Jeff began his career in 1988 as an auditor for Ernst & Young and Company. Jeff became a partner with Reicin Pollack in 1997. In May 2000, Jeff received his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Northern Illinois University.

He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

Jack Knopoff joined Reicin Pollack and became a partner in 1978. Jack currently manages the firm's computer hardware and software. Jack has more than 30 years of experience in all areas of accounting, auditing, taxation, financial and retirement planning, and computer advisory services, with special emphasis in the areas of not-for-profit, HUD and construction accounting. His extensive list of clientele includes professional service organizations, construction contractors, HUD projects, not-for profit organizations, employee benefit plans and closely held family owned businesses.

Jack began his career with a Chicago area accounting firm, Miller, Mandell & Co., which later became part of the national firm, Laventhal, Krekstein, Horwath and Horwath. He left Laventhal to join Reicin Pollack in 1974.

Jack received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy from the Roosevelt University in 1969. Jack is a licensed CPA in Illinois since passing the exam in 1973. He is currently a member of the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)..

Jack has served and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of many Civic Organizations. He was President of Congregation Beth Shalom of Northbrook, Illinois from 1985-1987, and he has served on the Board of Directors and /or Executive Board since 1978. He is a national Board Member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and currently serves as a President of the Midwest Region United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Jack is a Board Member of the Community Foundation of Jewish Education. He is completing his term as Treasurer of the Susan F. Lasky Cancer Foundation.

LEONARD H. REICIN, CPA (1936-2001)
In January 2001, Leonard Reicin, our firm's founder and senior partner, passed away. Our staff and clients will miss his warmth, profound sense of humor, guidance and his leadership.

Leonard founded Reicin Pollack in 1965. Leonard drew on more than 40 years of experience in all areas of accounting, auditing, taxation, financial and retirement planning, and investment advisory services, with special emphasis in the area of mergers and acquisitions. With his keen insight and superior negotiating skills he served as a key advisor and lead negotiator on several mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Leonard handled numerous audits at various levels. He engaged in forensic areas such as divorce litigation, patent infringement and other investigatory services, and had served as an expert witness on numerous occasions.

As the head of the executive committee of Reicin Pollack, Leonard was responsible for providing guidance to the firm and his fellow partners as he had to his clients over his proud career. Leonard has left his trademark and legacy to his partners who will preserve the culture that Leonard created and molded. He will be missed by all of us.
