Reicin Pollack is a Chicagoland accounting firm, with 2 partners and 10 members. Our office is located Buffalo Grove, IL. Founded in 1965, the firm provides accounting, tax and consulting services to closely-held businesses. We have special niche groups serving the Real Estate & Construction Industries, Manufacturing & Distribution Industries, Litigation Support Services, Employee Benefit Plans, IT Consulting and more.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY 1
---Tax Senior: 2-7 years in tax accounting
The Successful Candidate
You have a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of experience in income tax preparation for businesses and individuals. Preferably you have already obtained your CPA, but CPA candidacy is acceptable. An MST degree, as well as public accounting experience is a plus. You maintain your solid knowledge of current tax law through your strong ability in tax research methods. Applying taxation theory to practice is a challenge you enjoy. Your analytical and written communication skills are superior. You strive for continuous improvement by questioning traditional methods. As either a team leader or participant, you excel at collaborating on projects. You adapt well to changing priorities and are willing to work on audit and accounting projects in addition to your normal duties.
You should be able to work independently, have strong analytical skills, and are highly motivated.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY 2
---Audit Senior: 2-7 years in accounting and auditing
The Successful Candidate
You have a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of experience in
financial reporting or auditing. Preferably you have already obtained your
CPA, but CPA candidacy is acceptable. Public accounting experience is a plus. You maintain your solid knowledge of current GAAP, including consolidation principles, through your strong ability in accounting research methods. Applying accounting theory to practice is a challenge you enjoy. Your analytical and written communication skills are superior. You are highly motivated and work well independently. You are also willing to work on projects in the tax department in addition to your regular duties.
You will assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements for our clients and contribute to other special projects such as a due diligence engagement to a business acquisition.

Challenges
Reicin Pollack provides challenges as diverse as the businesses of our clients: manufacturing, real estate, construction, law, healthcare, labor, professional services, technology, and nonprofit. You will develop an intimate working knowledge of our clients' businesses, all privately held, some family owned, all challenging.
We've structured our practice internally to provide an optimum level of
exposure and contact to other people and ideas within the firm, creating a
closeness and uniformity of purpose that we believe is unusual for a firm our size. It has also allowed the unique assets that each person may have to
offer to come to the fore, rather than be lost in the system. Client assignments are a team effort, and may last from one week to a few months. Teams are multidisciplinary and industry-focused. And though our practice is conducted locally, seldom do out-of-town assignments exceed four or five weeks a year.
Training
At Reicin Pollack, professional education begins the moment you join us. Our comprehensive orientation program will familiarize you with our approach to the practice of public accounting, tax and consulting, our workpaper and file techniques, and our general office administrative procedures. On-the-job training begins with your first assignment and continues throughout your career.
From the first year staff members, to partners, our goal is that all of our professionals receive formal continuing professional education each year. These strong programs utilize Reicin Pollack's own experts, as well as outside specialists.
You will also be encouraged to attend industry-related courses, conferences
and seminars that will expand your working knowledge of our clients'
